A Magical Moment

I had the privilege to collaborate with an actor who is a consummate artist and contributed so much to the creative process. Dustin Hoffman is a designer’s dream because of his understanding the role costuming plays in the creation of a character. He took an interest in everything from the texture and weight to the color of the fabric while appreciating all the details, like the sculpted buttons with faces. It really was magic working with a master of his craft.
