Back to the Future

Working in Australia on a futuristic show set 85 million years in the past was a fun and unique challenge. These characters from a dystopian future in 2149, travel back in time to the dinosaur era, without humans and find themselves in a natural and challenging environment.

I worked primarily with a muted color palette of earth tones to reflect the environment and used hits of color in the character dressing to accentuate certain moments in the story arc. The overall feeling was meant to support the idea of colonists starting over.
