Forward and Back Again

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings, following in their father’s footsteps, to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. What they find leads them into the world of monsters and to Army officer Lee Shaw, who knew there father and was present in the 1950s, as a young Army officer (Wyatt Russell). Now, half a century later, Shaw (Kurt Russell) guides the siblings on their dangerous quest.

This dramatic saga, moving back and forth over three generations, required both character dressing and the design and building of costumes to accurately reflect the different time periods, as well as various military sequences and large crowd scenes in several international locales. Authentic costuming was key to support both the dramatic narrative and to assist the actors in developing their characters.
